Hoho I don't see this post !!

I try but no result and the same message "no album found for ..... "

A little mistake in the web site link : Site=http://www.discogs.com
not "disocgs"

But I found that this web site need now a count to use the service so.... script is useless ? :/

Site=http://www.disocgs.com instead than Site=http://www.discogs.com is a little mistake in information's part of the script and it doesn't affects its use.
Next release will correct it.
What do you mean saying: "need now a count" ???
What is the title you are looking for?

Waiting corrections, anyway, you can use "batch mode" of the script.

sorry perhaps my english is bad ^^''
and thanks for your answer !!

for the " account " (count is not correct....) >>> we need to sign in to use the website and the script ? I have the answer = No need to sign in.
I try the batch mod after copying the link of an album and paste it in AMC >> OK :D

so :
mod normal : album "The Power Cosmic" : don't work
mod "batch" with link : same album : OK

but :
- Group and album title not in the same square ("original" & "traduction" squares) >> in the same square it could be better if we want to have a organized listing in AMC. (Group - Year - Album ?)

Also the tracklist, year, are not downloaded by the script.

For this example, "genre" is not the good information. (Genre : Rock)
"Style" is more just (black metal)

if you need help to improved the script I can help to test it (not to prog) ;)

OK

Use "Formatted Title" to produce listings or both fields together to sort or renumber

? ? ? ? they are present in my download from http://www.discogs.com/Bal-Sagoth-The-P ... ase/754675 :hum:

Thanks for the help. I haven't thought of using this option in AMC.

Ok I don't use the same link as you :
http://www.discogs.com/Bal-Sagoth-The-P ... ter/125765
With your link it's OK.

There are blank space between the 2 informations in the field "producer":
Nuclear Blast – NB 421-2,_____________Nuclear Blast – 27361 64212

I know ^^ but I think it will be more just to take the "style" information in the script, not the "Genre".

OK ;)

Questions :

- how is choosen the good album edition, when we can found several editions ?
I have this NB421-2 CD edition but if I have another one how to choose (in "normal mod")?

- Is it possible to place some informations in others fields ? (I will try with others examples)
in this example : Cover : Martin Hanford / Mixed By, Producer, Engineer : Mags / Photography By : J.C. Dhien
some fields in AMC are empty.

- In the "media type" field, CD/Vynil/DVD/cassette/etc can be imported ?

- Do you think it will be possible to have the length of the album ? (an addition of time of tracks in, the length field ?)

Anyway Thanks for this script !! :D

It was my choice; maybe you are right, they are not so fine to see, in next release i will change them with ; -
"Style" is more just (black metal)
I know ^^ but I think it will be more just to take the "style" information in the script, not the "Genre".
Obvousely, it is not always true.....I Will change the field contents with:
Genre (style)

At the moment I don't need any help... I need free time!
It looks that corrections won't be so heavy; I hope in a little time they will be possible.

That is just the reason why I created "Batch Mode". Discogs is even too rich in information; an "Artificial Intelligence" cannot take your eye's place!
Look for your CD/album in the site, copy/paste link in url's field and use batch option!
- Is it possible to place some informations in others fields ? (I will try with others examples)
in this example : Cover : Martin Hanford / Mixed By, Producer, Engineer : Mags / Photography By : J.C. Dhien
some fields in AMC are empty.
You can already find them in Credits field
- In the "media type" field, CD/Vynil/DVD/cassette/etc can be imported ?
You can already find them in Video Format field
- Do you think it will be possible to have the length of the album ? (an addition of time of tracks in, the length field ?)
This information is not present in Discogs. You need to add every track time.... too heavy and not always possible for a script.
Anyway Thanks for this script !! :D

- Blank space >> OK.

- For the edition, we have >> link + batch mod. OK.

- Genre (style) >> OK.

- for the "credits" they are in the actors field. But I think it will be too difficult to separate informations (group in the "actors" field // producer+cover+photo in an other field)

- for the "media type" I was thinking to have in this field only : CD/Vynil/FLAC/MP3/etc. Not the "CD, Album / 2 × CD, Compilation / 3 x CD / etc." Just the Type.
I will do this by myself.

- For the length >> OK I give up ^^''
