Site=http://www.disocgs.com instead than Site=http://www.discogs.com is a little mistake in information's part of the script and it doesn't affects its use.xenesys wrote:I try but no result and the same message "no album found for ..... "
A little mistake in the web site link : Site=http://www.discogs.com
not "disocgs"
But I found that this web site need now a count to use the service so.... script is useless ?
OKxenesys wrote:I have the answer = No need to sign in.
I try the batch mod after copying the link of an album and paste it in AMC >> OK
OKxenesys wrote:mod normal : album "The Power Cosmic" : don't work
mod "batch" with link : same album : OK
Use "Formatted Title" to produce listings or both fields together to sort or renumberxenesys wrote:- Group and album title not in the same square ("original" & "traduction" squares) >> in the same square it could be better if we want to have a organized listing in AMC. (Group - Year - Album ?)
? ? ? ? they are present in my download from http://www.discogs.com/Bal-Sagoth-The-P ... ase/754675xenesys wrote:Also the tracklist, year, are not downloaded by the script.
Sorry.... those are informations taken from discogs!xenesys wrote:For this example, "genre" is not the good information. (Genre : Rock)
"Style" is more just (black metal)
Thanks for the help. I haven't thought of using this option in AMC.Use "Formatted Title" to produce listings or both fields together to sort or renumber
Ok I don't use the same link as you :? ? ? ? they are present in my download from http://www.discogs.com/Bal-Sagoth-The-P ... ase/754675xenesys wrote:Also the tracklist, year, are not downloaded by the script.
I know ^^ but I think it will be more just to take the "style" information in the script, not the "Genre".Sorry.... those are informations taken from discogs!xenesys wrote:For this example, "genre" is not the good information. (Genre : Rock)
"Style" is more just (black metal)
OKAt the moment I don't need any help... I need free time!
It was my choice; maybe you are right, they are not so fine to see, in next release i will change them with ; -xenesys wrote:There are blank space between the 2 informations in the field "producer":
Nuclear Blast – NB 421-2,_____________Nuclear Blast – 27361 64212
Obvousely, it is not always true.....I Will change the field contents with:"Style" is more just (black metal)
I know ^^ but I think it will be more just to take the "style" information in the script, not the "Genre".
It looks that corrections won't be so heavy; I hope in a little time they will be possible. At the moment I don't need any help... I need free time!
That is just the reason why I created "Batch Mode". Discogs is even too rich in information; an "Artificial Intelligence" cannot take your eye's place!Questions :
- how is choosen the good album edition, when we can found several editions ?
I have this NB421-2 CD edition but if I have another one how to choose (in "normal mod")?
You can already find them in Credits field- Is it possible to place some informations in others fields ? (I will try with others examples)
in this example : Cover : Martin Hanford / Mixed By, Producer, Engineer : Mags / Photography By : J.C. Dhien
some fields in AMC are empty.
You can already find them in Video Format field- In the "media type" field, CD/Vynil/DVD/cassette/etc can be imported ?
This information is not present in Discogs. You need to add every track time.... too heavy and not always possible for a script.- Do you think it will be possible to have the length of the album ? (an addition of time of tracks in, the length field ?)
Anyway Thanks for this script !!
