Use AMC with XBMC
I've been using AMC for a while with the MyFilms plugin for MediaPortal. I've also got my brother using it as a standalone catalog of all his movies. In the future he'll be using XBMC (running on a Rasberry Pi) to play his movies, so I was wondering if AMC could be modified to be able to help with t...

I found the bug but it was not me :/. The bug comes from Delphi 7 JPEG library. Actually Delphi 7 don't handle CMYK JPEG's properly and generates an error that I can't catch! Not good... But don't worry! I apply a fix to handle CMYK JPEG's and all seem to work great now :D. Thank to this page http:...

You have to run the script one time to save the script settings. Ah I see. Yes that works thanks. It is strange. Unfortunately there is no logs. Do you use the last version ? The error occurs each time only with this movie ? Maybe the picture is bad ? Can you try without the picture ? Seems that mi...

Ah sorry, I obviously got confused and thought that if I already had 4.1.0.2 installed I can just unrar the rar over the top. I've deleted the default.xml and prefs.xml and it does use my old settings in ProgramData now. I also deleted the scripts and templates folders, but still I can't get the set...

To avoid to lose all your preferences, keep the file 'prefs.xml' in AMC folder. But there is no prefs.xml in the rar file (at least not in mine - there should not be one in yours either, as default preferences are in default.xml) Indeed, there's not one in mine either and the default.xml doesn't co...

@soulsnake Thanks, I'll keep using Mediainfo DLL then as I have a lot of mkv files these days. Pictures are loading fine now I've put them in the same folder as the xml thanks. I guess I forgot how AMC works as I've been playing with My Films which allows me to specify a path to the pictures. I've b...

Modifying IMDB script
I use AMC and Myfilms/AMCU and I'd like to make the grabbing consistent between them. AMCU puts the Classification in a Custom field "Classification" so I'd like to make AMC's IMDB script do the same. At the moment it offers the option to put it in the Media Label or Comments field, but I ...

Thanks for the update. After unraring the archive over the existing Program Files\ files, I note it had reset the settings. Is there a way to avoid this, as it can be a bit of a pain trying to remember what they were set to and changing them all again? Also, are there any disadvantages to using the ...

Picture Importation setting not working for .xml files
Using v4.1.0.2, if I set the Picture importation setting to Keep Original Name, when I save the database as an .xml file it creates the cover image with the Movie Number (e.g. 163.jpg) instead. Use Formatted Movie Title works as I'd expect, but I want to use just the Original Title otherwise the fil...

To help illustrate the issue with importing the list of documentaries, here's a sample of entries. Autoschreck / Car-Fright (1994) (MP4/AVI) (16 mins) Francis Bacon – South Bank Show 1985 (MPG) (55 mins) The Battle For Jerusalem (Storyville 14.5.08) (49 mins) The Century Of The Self (4 parts) (58/59...

Well not all the fields were in the same column as you can see from the two examples I gave in my first post. I wanted to keep the Format and Length (and Comments, although there weren't many of those) as my brother will probably prefer to see the length of the actual files he's got rather than the ...
