I've been using AMC for a while with the MyFilms plugin for MediaPortal.
I've also got my brother using it as a standalone catalog of all his movies.
In the future he'll be using XBMC (running on a Rasberry Pi) to play his movies, so I was wondering if AMC could be modified to be able to help with this? I think that XBMC needs an moviename.nfo, moviename-poster.jpg, moviename.tbn alongside each movie but I've only just started using it myself so I might well be wrong about the details. Most of his movies will probably all be in one folder, although he might sometimes put some in their own individual folders.
So I guess what I'm asking is if AMC could export the information about each movie that it's already scraped, into these files that XBMC needs? I guess it won't matter if it's exporting data for movies that aren't actually on the HDD anymore, as opposed to just those that are currently available, as it just means if he does copy that movie across from his backup HDD/DVD at a later date to watch, the data files will already be there ready to be used.
