Is there a Script tutorial?

I'd like to write a script, don't know where to start!

There isn't really a tutorial.
If you don't know Delphi/Pascal, it can be useful to check some basic tutorial about that, as the script engines uses a similar syntax.
Then I'd suggest checking existing scripts, and the "Technical Info" section of the Help file that comes with AMC.

I'm not complaining about that you understand, just that my skills are somewhat rusty to say the least!
I can "monkey-see monkey-do" but that's about my limit.

Why don't you try to understand a script AMC you are using to extract movie's informations?
I think it could be a good way to understand how writing a script.
