Little error when starting AMC

Hello

When I start AMC for the first time (after a boot of the pc or something else) everything works fine.

Then I put a dvd in my drive and import the movie in AMC. When I'm done, I close AMC, put the dvd out of my drive and everything worked great.

Now when i start AMC for a second time, a little error box appears saying this:

Ant Movie Catalog 3: MovieCatalog.exe - No Disc
There is no disc in the drive.
abort - retry - cancel

Is there any way to solve this little buggie ?

That sometime happens, but I do not know why.
A solution is to edit moviecatalog.xml with notepad and delete the DVD path from it (do a search in the file).
To prevent this from happen you can drag & drop the files from Windows Explorer instead of using the "get information from file" menu.

hey antp

i did what u said and the error is gone

i replaced this line from MovieCatalog.xml:

Code: Select all

<GetFromFiles Type="1" Path="G:\movie\"/>

into this one

Code: Select all

<GetFromFiles Type="0" Path="G:\movie\"/>

it still works using the drive and after opening AMC a second time without the use of the drive the error has magically disappeared
