Subtitles support

Post by Guest »

Hello

Since a lot of us need subtitles to view our movies,we usually search & download the subtitles as an external file from web sites. It would be usufull to add a seperate field for the "Subtitle file link " which will point to a local/web link.

On that note since we search the subtitle file(s) on the net i would suggest adding a new Getfile function (same as GetPicture) to the scripting support .It will enable us writing scripts for search & import of subtitles file and storing them ( preferably EXTERNAL to the AMC catalog)

Hi,
Why not. I'll see that in further versions, probably not 4.0, but maybe later.

GOOD IDEA!

That would be a GREAT improvement!!!

Also, for the script to search for pictures I would enjoy a script pointing at www.amazon.com for the dvd cover and some scripts pointing at some movie posters web site such as http://www.impawards.com/gallery.html. The more pictures, the better.

Would it be possible to put more than one picture for each movie in the database?

La prochaine version (4) permettra de mettre plusieurs images par film.
Pour les acteurs je verrai plus tard (bien plus tard) vu que pour moi c'est pas important et assez complexe à gérer
ANTP said YES: version four will allow more than one picture per movie.
Sorry, I was off topic anyway!

God, there is so much to read before I can post something new!

Image kisses
