AMC For Music

Hi, I have been using AMC for years and it is a wonderfull programme. Is there any link to AMC for music. I am not so PC literate, so a simple download would be nice.

You can use normal AMC with the two scripts discogs and allmusic I wrote some time ago (you can find them in this sub-forum).

I use different catalogs (I have various catalogs for music, books, movies etc.) but it would be possible to use the same catalog with different values in field "Media Type".
Give us feedbacks, please.

Discogs script: as usual,
1) in folder Scripts create a discogs.ifs file (if not exist)
2) open it with windows noteblock
3) copy complete code inside
4) save as "allfiles" (it must mantain .ifs file estension.
done!

N.B. fields are recognized in Italian language. This is the language you must set in your discogs account.

Allmusic script: same procedure as discogs but no problem about language (English only!).

Thank you very much, the all music script now works.
One last question when running it asks for name of the album, as i dont know the album how can this be changed as i have the song name only not the album name.

You cannot supply the "song name" as obviousely you will have different results than using an "Album Name".
At the moment the script searches only album name (that can even be the same as song name).
To search single songs I suggest you to use the bath option of the script (after having a "manual" search on allmusic.com).
Maybe one day i will make a variant to the script (if possible) .....

I prepared a script to extract individual song information from allmusic but the extractable data are so thin that I abandoned it.
To understand, for example, by searching for "Light my fire" check the pages:
