Get targets from a text file

Greetings, dear community!

I have been using AR for the last 5 years and have only positive impressions. Carry on with the development of this wonderfully useful tool.

Recently I have been given a task to shorten long names of nearly 500 files with full path listed in a text file (one path - one line). Target files are located in different folders, so generic drag-and-drop procedure won't save time.
Can you suggest me a way to import this list of targets to AR instead of drag-and-drop procedure please?

This is somewhere in the top of my "to do" list, but currently not possible with the current version.
