Export : choose .htm and picture name

Post by Pleky »

Hello,

First very nice software, I use it for years now ;)

Is it possible to use a field (custom field with film filename) to name exported files ?

I would like to use minidlna, and thumbnail support requires to have filmFilename.jpg.

I'm currently using title, but it is usually different than the filename (even case must match).

Thanks for your help,
PleKy

I do not think it is possible yet (soulsnake will confirm) but it could be a good feature idea :D

Hi,

This is not directly possible for now but with a little script it should be for XML abd AMC catalogs.
Process for each picture:
- Export picture file in a tmp folder
- Rename picture file with name you want
- Import picture (in preferences, choose to keep original filename when you import a picture)

But for export to HTML, this is not possible for now.
I will see to add an option to use other fields using a template (such as custom title for formatted title set in preferences)

Thanks for the info,

I've just created a raw export/HTML :
$$ITEM_BEGIN$$ITEM_PICTUREFILENAME , $$ITEM_CF_FILENAME
$$ITEM_END

and I'm browsing my directories to change jpg and htm files. As minidlna is also supporting XBMC nfo xml, I'll add this later too.

Thanks again for your great software,
PleKy
