If culturalia or IMDB doesn't provide a link to corresponding DVDEmpire's item page, you will have to integrate a simplyfied, but nearly complete script for DVDEmpire - search for title, build results list, load item page, find picture URL, download picture. To get accurate results, you probably will have to choose the correct title manually from results list.

It should be possible to take the neccessary code from latest DVDEmpire script (maybe you have to rename some variables) and copy/paste it into the other script without the need of writing new script code.

Hi guys! new to the software but i'm really liking it.

Can you help me edit the imdb script to point to www.imdb.CN (chinese) instead of www.imdb.COM? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468569/ and http://www.imdb.cn/title/tt0468569/ lead to the same movie...same with other links.

Since the .CN site is just a direct rip-off of the real imdb I tried to edit it and simply change the url's in the script to point to the chinese site...this didnt work. It could connect to the site but didn't get any data from it...can anyone help me out?

For me IMDb.cn doesn't seem to be a 'direct rip-off' of IMDb.com, at least no official one, is it ?

Nonetheless the site might use similar URLs or same movie IDs, but as it has a complete different layout you cannot simply change URLs to make the IMDb script work with this site. The script needs major changes - it might be even easier to write a new one than to adapt a quite complex one like IMDb, as the structure of the site seems to differ, too (from what I can see without chinese language support here; e.g. no popular titles search results).

At this point you can't search on cast members, just movie titles. If I can think of how to add this I may add it later.

Ok, i've sinned! i've looked around for other programs, alternatives to AMC... but i didn't find any as cool as this is!
Recently i discovered this forum and a new world opened!
Recently i investigated further the possibilities of operating scripts on multiple selections and filtering the results...
The program is really p o w e r f u l !
But i didn't find the way to do this:
launch a script and search many internet databases ONLY for images at the same time, so that i can check them (click here to view) and choose the one i wish.
i'm not a programmer, but i think this could be achieved with a script that searches only for pics fields in a certain number of sites (maybe just a few well supplied). Is it possible? Is it already done?? Anybody interested?

I have just reached 100 burned DVD's and now the sorting by media label got screwed, because I was not thinking about the number of dvd's in advance.

So I tried to create a script that will update the media labels with new format:

but it doesn't work for some reason.
Please note that I never scripted anything in AMC, I don't even know what's the scripting language. I just tried to put it together from some other scripts I saw.

Could you please help me fix the script?
