i am unable to see any of the fields in the print advanced sort options screen. I have a blank screen except for the arrow in the middle. I have 2 computers both running xp pro with all updates and sp2. It works ok on one computer, but not the other. any suggestions?
Do you see the frame around the fields lists (i.e. empty lists), or is the window really empty except the arrows?
Does the problem also happen if you click "advanced" in File -> Export or in Tools -> Renumber ?
If you did not try before, maybe it would make sense to do a reinstall of AMC to be sure the installation is / some files are not corrupted somehow (or i.e. run a second installation from an USB stick on the computer).
I do not think that it would change anything, it is probably a problem related to a theme installed, or the driver of the video card.
Also check if you have the same problem in the language selection window, as there is a common point between these windows.
version 3.51. I tried reinstall. no go. video card is a geforce 6200 dual display. language selection works great. Only problem is with field variables. also have the same problem with the properties of imdb script. I am unable to view the fields there as well. that's where I actually discovered the problem. I was unable to selet and change the mpaa rating option.
the only thing I can figure is a dll or ocx version issue. I have alpha five version 8 on this computer (eveything works fine with programs created). the other machine has visual foxpro 9 on it.
mystery solved!!!. It only happens on the extended desktop. both monitors are identical. same make, model, settings, but I have issues on the monitor with the extended desktop. NO problem. I'll just run on the main monitor. Thanks for your help. Great program.
