IMDB script is probably working, usually when it stop working I get several notifications within one or two hours as there are lots of people using it. So 1 or 2 months is not possible :D There is probably a more recent script included in the latest release of AMC, or you can update it from www.antp.be/temp/scripts/

Hello Antp :)
Sorry - I'm bothering you several times already - because I'm a great fan of your great program :))

I'm using exactly this script (IMDB.ifs 28-Jan-2006 11:01 26k). Yes, it's working, but at almost every title I get the Read Timeout error, or this error, combined with HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found error. When the combination of these 2 errors is present I get nothing in the catalog for current movie - But the title on IMDB actually exists. In about 1 of 30 cases (titles) the script even not display any error. When only the first error appears, in most cases the title is imported correctly.
That state of the script is about 2 months for me. I have nice Internet home connection (full 2 Mbit International), and also had large number of titles in Ant Catalog - but I don't think that is the problem (almost 6000 titles).
I tried older versions of IMDB script, as I tried the latest version on the site and this strange behaviour persist. It never been before. You tell that anyone does not have such a problem?

Thank you!

Cineguide (Cinebel)

Post by Plecotus »

The [NL] Cineguide_nl.ifs www.cinebel.be script (by Epsilon, Antoine Potten) seems to be no longer working. It still finds the movie (you get to see the list), but once selected and trying to download the movie info, it comes up with "No Movie Found".

It was working fine a few days ago...

Well, as I made/corrected that script I guess that I'll have to correct it again. I still have the image.be script in my to-do list :/

Do you have Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0.299 installed? I have similar problems since 1 month. I think the http-Virusscan of KAV 6.0 isn't fully compatible with AMCs Scriptfunction GetPage(). If I deactivate KAV, the script runs without errors or timeouts.

If KAV is activated, all calls to GetPage() ends with a timeout, if the parameter is a forwarded URL like http://us.imdb.com/rg/title-tease/plots ... lotsummary

If someone has problems with Kaspersky Antivirus/Internet Security 6 and AMC, do the following:

In KAV/KIS open Settings / Trusted zone... / Trusted Applications

Click Add..., then Browse... and choose MovieCatalog.exe

Under Properties ONLY mark
Do not scan network traffic

Close the settings windows with OK

Done!

Now AMC scripting works as before.

hi all,

Am I the only one who has problems with the script for TV.COM ? Cause I have not seen anyone complaining lately. The script worked perfectly at first but for a few weeks it doesnt find the series anymore. It doesnt find the series title or the episodes name.
Can anyone help ? Or maybe tell me for another script/site that imports tv series info.

thx

10x yeti :)
It seems, that the problem is caused exactly by Kaspersky AV. I used 5.0388 version, but it has the same settings for network protection. I'm now with totaly clean windows (fresh install) and I haven't such a problem. It is about 100% sure that the problem is caused by windows program (Kaspersky maybe).
Thank you again. I'm using NOD32 now :)

Est-il prévu une nouvelle version du script pour IMP Awards ? Il semble qu'ils aient modifié leur moteur de recherche pour utiliser Google à la place. Je ne sais pas si cette façon de faire est compatible avec AMC ?

Is there a new version planned for the IMP Awards script ? It seems that they changed their search engine to Google. I don't know if this way of searching is compatible with AMC ?

Non, cela ne semble pas être un problème, il faut juste connaitre l'url de recherche et changer la partie sur le traitement des pages de résultats (ce qui demande du temps tout de même)

No, it seems not to be a problem, we just need to know the new search url and change the treatment of the result's page (that need to spend some time however)

L'url de recherche est du genre / the "new" search url is like :
(désolé pour mon anglais minable !
Sorry for my poor english speaking)

filmposter-archiv.de

Post by spacekris »

first a little hello.
i am a new user for the ant catalog and i like it already very much.
it is very userfriendly, not bloated with html view, fast and free(!) :grinking:. thank you very much for this creampie!

but back to topic,
the script for filmposter-archiv.de does find the pictures, but they are not saved (yes the picture box is ticked).

keep up the excellent work!

You mean that in the "results" window the picture is visible, but it does not appear in the main window after that? :??:

the window "movie selection" found the film. when you click it to preview, the browser opens the right picture, but in the next window "results" the picture field is empty. nothing to save.

and another behavior. try entering "A History Of Violence" the "movie selection" window says there are some matches, but you cant see anything, the matches are not shown.
"Man on fire" the same.

strange.

The script does not find the picture then, "preview" only shows which page the script will analyze to get info.
