Hi Sracer,

I am going to change your language file a bit since I want it to be compatible with the PK Movie Database web scripts.
Basically I am going to swap some fields. That's all....

Any problem with that...hopefully not ;-)
No problem! If you'd like, download version 0.91 . I've started ...

Hi Sracer,
I tested your ifs. script..if worked fine. The changes I made to my language file are not required then. Perfect.
But some recommendations:
- AllMusic AMC MP3 (EN).ifs: change the title within this file, so it is displayed different then the original allmusic.ifs.
e.g. Title=AllMusic ...

Yes indeed. I just updated the AMC-MP3 language file with Taborder settings, and it does indeed work as expected. :grinking:

OK. I made the changes to name all fields as suggested. I downloaded the AllMusic.ifs file (written by FrenchFrog2) and tweaked it for use with my AMC-MP3 mod.

Looks great. I tried the AllMusic.IFS file as well and that worked fine except that I didn't get the tracks ;-) Some rewrite is required here.
Yep... add that to the list. :)

Remark:
- When I resizes the AMC window, the fields are moving around. Could they be locked ?
- The tabs are very random ...

Ok, here is a rough version for testing. No instructions with it yet. If a person doesn't know how to apply an AMC mod, then they shouldn't be testing this yet.

Using the FIND function of AMC and doing a search on Media Type of CD allows the user to work with only CDs.

Hi Sracer,

Could you also keep in mind that CD's with music could be added ?
Or are you doing that already ?

So CD's with a trach listing ?
Hi pollewops. Absolutely! The idea is that this mod will be able to track both single digital audio tracks as well as CDs (and cassette, LP, and 8-tracks ...

GetPicture( ) for local file?

I'm working on a script that will load a picture (.jpg) for a "movie" from a known location on the local harddrive.

GetPicture( ) appears to only retrieve files from the internet. I tried using "file:///" to fake it to go after a local file, but with no luck.

Is it possible to do this?

Another nice side-effect was by assigning "Track #" to the "Translated Title" field. When I "Group by Album", the Albums are sorted alphabetically (by album name) but within the album, the tracks are sorted by track #.

This approach is surprisingly flexible. I have noticed however that the .top ...

As soon as I have it completed, I'll give you everything I have. (related to Ant Music Catalog that is. )

I can see that tweaking the language file can be a bit tricky, so I created a custom syntax profile for my editor (EditPlus). This uses color to show structure and helps visually identify ...

Yet Another "Ant Music Catalog" (MP3)

I've been a longtime fan of Ant Movie Catalog. It is by far head and shoulders above all of the other DVD catalogers out there. Having just updated my DVD catalog and printed a nice catalog of my films, I thought it would be nice to do the same for my mp3 files. I searched high and low and there was ...

I'm not familiar with XBMC, but I have access to my AMC catalog on my Nintendo Wii and XBox360. I have a mini-webserver running on my computer and use the Opera web brower on the Wii (or the web browser media center plug-in on the 360). Note: this just accesses my video library that was created with ...

Tweaked default html template (wth scrollable window)

Hey all, I was looking for a nice html template that was responsive to user commands, small, and easy to tweak. I ended up going back to the default html template.

The downside to the default template is that if you have a long list of movies, you have to scroll down to select the film, and then ...

or you could try installing the Paperless Printer virtual driver and using AMC's print function, "print" to html. Here's the link. The virtual driver is free for personal use:

I'm the one that posted those screenshots of an AMC export to a smartphone. There wasn't any interest in the files so I never bothered posting them. I'll see what I can do to upload them.

I suggest using one of the existing fields to mark that information. I use the "Media Label" field to indicate the location of the disc in my house. I have so many DVDs that I cannot keep them all in a single place. So I used that field to denote where it is stored. Whenever I do my inventory, it is ...

Unique Report : comments / suggestions welcomed!

I never have a hardcopy listing of my collection. I prefer to keep it on my notebook, smartphone, or website. But I thought it was about time that I created a DVD catalog to place on my coffee table to easily peruse a list of what I have.

Being a visual person, I wanted a report style that would ...
