Willspo's new template supports xml too, and works better then my template in it's current state

Version 4 aparently will already have support for multiple pictures.
You will be able to define your own fields for movies, so you should be able to add write and company very easily.

As for Actors, since you can make fields yourself a separate database of actors ...

Ok first don't just use twink(3).html you have to export it to get the fields filled in (haven't got around to adding this to the xml).

0.8 doesn't work on the internet or in mozilla due to the script not waiting for the XML to load before trying to display it. It loads fast enough when on a local machine usually, I set it up successfully on a local webserver of mine, but that works just due to very fast speeds again, if this small ...

To use this template export it like normal using the template Twink(3).html (or whatever Ant renames it to) then save your movie database in xml format (in main window of AMC goto file save as, and select XML) as "movies.xml" i think this should work

well sorry to do this but I've no longer got time to work on my template, so I'm leaving the official version at 0.7. I have however uploaded what I've done for 0.8 at http://twink.orcon.net.nz/template0.8.rar however this version isn't finished being debugged, and I don't think it works in Mozilla ...

Yeah sure man I can do that. Although I've been way to busy to do any updates on it, and I'm not sure if any are coming soon =(

yes that would cut sizes down quite alot. However I have already seperated the database into xml leaving the html smaller (although the xml is still quite large so it doesn't fix the problem) I've been way too busy lately to do any work on the template, which is a real pity, but that's life

Adding CData around the actors field make it work perfectly (wouldn't work at all without it actually, even with no &'s in the thing, must have been another character this time).

after playing around with the xml for a while, I discovered having an ampersand ('&') in one of the fields (Actors in my case) stopped it from showing. I also noticed the template seems to have the picture field twice for some reason.

I have the basic page with no errors. just the search box, and empty filter box, and no movies at all.

To be honest I'm not sure what you're asking, if anyone speaks german that would be great. However if there is no person to do translation/help then take some screenshots to help show us what the problem is.
