HDR is on my to do list, so in the next update of the program itself I'll probably add the option to put it in a custom field automatically from the media info line you mentioned (since adding that is easy)
But a dedicated field is probably too specific, and requires much more changes.

Option 1 is maybe possible using cookies but I'm not sure it would be easy to do with the scripts, and not sure it would work better anyway.
Option 2, I don't think.
Option 3 is quite easy to make but not very easy to use. You would have to save the page to a defined location with the browser, and ...

The problem is already being discussed there:

but no solution yet, as it seems to be the site which is blocking AMC.

Just updating the install package for new scripts is really different than modifying the program.
And adding fields has a lot of implications, so I won't add just one quickly like that.
As I said, you'll probably have to stick to the custom fields for now ;)

As said above, robots.txt does not protect anyting, it is just indication for robots.

I'll soon update AMC's install package to include both of these, now that it seems stable

The time I create a github account and install software locally I see you already changed it on the server
I would remove the spaces inside parenthesis though, as otherwise it clashes with the existing "IMDB (Actor images)" script.

It is indeed much simplier than parsing the pages. We'll see how long this API stays available.
I would change the title to "IMDb (via API)" or something like that.

Uninstall AMC, delete this folder if still exists [ C:\ProgramData\Ant Movie Catalog ] and install again AMC. Double check no antivirus is blocking AMC (try disabling it and open AMC). The IMDb script is currently being rewritten, so there are often new versions.
That bug was fixed it seems, I updated the script on my server (I can't update it there as fast as new versions are posted on the forum).

That's what happens here: most of the code for the new version of IMDb is parsing the json of the page.
But the old code has to be kept while IMDb still serve old pages in ...
