Landscape problem

Post by FlyerDie »

Antp, thanks for your work in Ant Movie Catalog!!! :grinking:

Well...i have the following problem...I try to use the "Landscape list.frf", and works fine... but when I select in page options, the page orientation, LANDSCAPE (for a better printing), the orientation doesn't change :hum:

I was thinked theres a problem with my printer (Epson Stylus 640) , but I try the same situation at my work, with a printer driver HP LaserJet 3000 , and i have the same problem... :/

I'm using the version 3.4.2 (13/04/2003)...the last until now.

Do you have some tip?

Thanks in advanced and sorry my english! :p

what do you mean by "for a better printing" ? The template should select the page orientation itself, you do not have to change it. Maybe that it display "portrait" option selected when displaying printer setup but it should print in landscape as specified in the template's properties.

"Better Printing" means with all the columns (Nr, original Title, year, Country...etc etc...)
The template is the original, i didn't modificate it.
I reinstall and i have the same problem... :(

I see in Report Designer thats the page orientation (when select Landscape List) doesn't change... stills portrait....but in the config says landscape... :hum:

When y press print button... print portrait :/

I uso other programs ..thinking the problem is in the drivers... but works fine...

I can't see your picture (can't connect to server), but on my PC when I print the template the printer switches automatically to landscape, so I do not know why it does not work for you. And it works on several other people's PC.
Anyway, if there is a problem it is in FreeReport (the tool that I use for printing), so I can't probably correct it.
