If you usually connect through a proxy, do not forget to set it up in Tools -> Preferences -> Scripting

let's try 2 say in inglisch, if i want toconnect to the internet to imvb i get this error can't connect, can someone help please, thanks.

i have tried this one:proxy settings: proxy.telenet.be port: 8080
is this oke? i'm with telenet belgium

I guess it is ok... if you look in Internet Explorer's options (or your default browser), you should also find Proxy information...
If you go on http://us.imdb.com , does it work ?

j'ai le meme message d'erreur pr ts les scripts,je suis chez AOL ADSL 512
ya t il une maniere d'ecrire les titres? moi j'ai noté par ex : "Le Transporteur"

bah je sais pas, vu l'erreur c'est plutôt le programme qui n'arrive pas à ouvrir la connexion. Je ne sais pas si c'est lié ou non à AOL, mais c'est bien possible.

precision,j'ai un dual boot et il se trouve que ca marche tres bien avec mon win 2000 pro et que sur XP ca merde

donc AOL n'est pas fautif..mais bon c'est deja ca,je peux m'en servir maintenant

Bizarre, la config dans XP peut-être, style le serveur DNS ou un truc du genre
