personalization of sorting & view

hello i have 2 catalog : one for movies and the other for ebooks

the probleme is that both dont have the same system management:
- movies are sortes by number of dvd and using list view
- ebooks are sorted by writer name and years of book and title and unsing thumbnails

but when i move from one catalog to another i have to change settinf from the begining

so my suggestion is to have the personlized setting saved on the movies files so we can have more than catalog each one is with his own personalisation

PS: an old suggestion still up to date is to make software supporting utf-8 cause we hate the applocal inteface ....

You can have different settings files.
Make one shortcut per use, and add the /prefs params to specify which settings has to be used with which catalog instead of the default prefs.xml

moviecatalog.exe "c:\users\you\documents\catalogs\books.amc" /prefs "c:\programdata\ant movie catalog\prefsbooks.xml"

Adding unicode support, that's a lot of work, and I doubt that soulsnake will have time for that (I know that for myself I don't...)

Les paramètres sont lus au démarrage de l'application donc lier ça au catalogue autrement que comme ça demanderait pas mal de changements...
