How can I get pictures to work with the html export?

Post by zachar3 »

I want to create a catalog, because I always have friends wanting to borrow my movies. What I tried to do is upload the exported html file with the pictures, etc. into a dropbox folder and then share the folder with my friends. However, this never works. I want the pictures to be visible on the html file on devices other than my own computer.

I don't think it is possible with a service like drop box that allows to get files one at a time.
You need a real web server, not just a file hosting service.
Or you can put HTML + images in a zip file that your friends can download and then view on their computer.

Formerly Opera was able to open MHMTL files (*.mht), but I´m not sure which actual browser can handle this.
It's a format that includes everything (HTML, pics, JS, CSS) in one single file.

But I guess AMC can´t export this format, nor do I know if there's a coverter programm for htm etc. to mht.

IE handles mht files natively.
Firefox does it when you install this extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/unmht/

AMC does not export to that format, but IE & Firefox can easily generate them from the HTML export.
