First off, thank for a great program. I just found the 4.2.0 BETA version the other day and a lot of the stuff I was looking for in the latest stable version were fixed. Nice job!
Some suggestions that I think would make Ant even better:
When I'm adding new movies I usually just drag and drop the .avi file onto the Ant interface (in the movie list). The problem is that if there is a movie selected in Ant (by mistake), the new movie I was trying to add will be associated with the selected movie, even if the .avi is dropped in a blank area. I think it would be better if files that are dropped in a blank area were treated like if the user tried to add a new movie. I the user wants to add another file to an existing movie in Ant he should then have to drop the file on the movie.
If you don't like that idea. Maybe it would at least be possible that Ant should open a dialog window when a new file is added (by drag and drop) to an existing movie. The dialogue window should ask if the file should be added as a new movie or to an existing movie.
I also think it would be nice if the File Path field (which by the way is a great addition) could hold multiple files (in a dropdown list). If a movie is divided into two (or more) separate files, this would make it much easier to watch part 2 etc.
I would also like the ability to drag and drop a directory onto the Ant interface so that a new movie would be added and all the files in the directory (and possibly also files in subdirs) should be associated with that movie.
I'm not sure if the following is possible. I haven't been able to figure it out anyway. It would be nice to edit the same field for multiple movies (so that all the selected movies get the same value for that field).
And finally it would be really neat if Ant in some way could handle subtitle files also. Possibly there could be a dropdown list (like I suggested for .avi files) with all the .srt and .sub files that gets associated with the movie. There could even be the possibility to use scripts to find subtitles from web pages in pretty much the same way as they now find information about the movie.
Hope you like my suggestions.
