Export as HTML Advanced includes question

Post by RobH »

I think I must be doing something wrong, I doubt it's the program. I selected only the first 9 of my movies and went to Export/HTML. Choosing Advanced, I selected only a few fields to include:

Rating
Original Title
Director
Producer
Country
Year
Length
URL

What resulted was a grid of 7 columns showing the star rating and box graphic (how do you get them to be the same size?) and:
Number (didn't want)
Original Title - good
Translated Title (didn't want anyway, but huge labeled blank area)
Size (Mb) (didn't want anyway, but big labeled blank area)
Format (didn't want anyway, but big labeled blank area)
Languages (didn't want anyway, but huge labeled blank area)(wanted Country)
Subtitles (didn't want anyway, but big labeled blank area)

YES, THESE FIELDS ARE WHAT I SEE IN THE TEMPLATE.HTML IN THE WINDOW, but what is the point of the Advanced 'include' options if one has to edit this template?

So, missing is:

Director
Producer
Country
Year
Length
URL[/img]

Hi,

The "Advanced" option is for advanced sort order and not to specify fields to include to the template ;).
If you want others fields in HTML export, you have to modify the HTML template.

OK, I see what you mean. Good I have some experience then. Not so hot for some. Also, I just made a small change in the template but didn't see any Save button appear...

There is a toolbar at top with all you need to manage templates (new, open, save, save as, insert special tag) ;).
