[FR] Upates scripts

Not sure if I understand correct, as google translation looks a bit weird this time.
@Antoine: I'd recommend to upload Update_Scripts script to default server folder again (it's not there anymore). Not sure if that alone is the problem (and solution), but it's definitive the reason for downloading the 0kb version (I did not include error handling for non existing script when updating itself, just did not think about that possibility when I wrote it). Older versions of the script always try to update from this folder, not from archive folder

Yep, but the script automatically tries to dl a new version if date/time comparision shows an older one. Maybe it's a problem with UAC/virtual store when the script tries to read local filedate/time, e.g. new script manually downloaded to program's folder though there is an older one at virtual folder which then is overwritten when 0KB version is downloaded. If I understood correct that the script initialized an auto update of itself, I think there is a good chance of copying the script to default server folder again solves this problem (and it might be good in case there are still older versions around, e.g. from dl sites, as these might dl 0kb file then, too).antp wrote:bad4u >> no, he said he had the latest version, and even redownloaded it
Though there still is a chance I'm wrong

Yes, that's why I asked Windows version...
I am not sure how Virtual Store works in case the program has a newer version of a file in the Virtual Store, and then you replace the original file in its own folder: does it continue to use the Virtual Store or does it switch back to the original one?
Once the file is downloaded manually, it has the date/time of the download, so it should not try to update itself.

Sorry, didn't understand that from the translation ^^antp wrote:Yes, that's why I asked Windows version...
It continues using files from Virtual Folder, no matter which files are newer. You'll see the same effect when you edit scriptfiles on program's folder, though there is a downloaded version of the same script on Virtual Folder. You will have to edit or delete the file from Virtual Folder in that case (or edit the file from within AMC of course).I am not sure how Virtual Store works in case the program has a newer version of a file in the Virtual Store, and then you replace the original file in its own folder: does it continue to use the Virtual Store or does it switch back to the original one?
