unable to print

today i got an error message when trying to print any database
Access violation at address 00000041. Read of address 00000041

then
error reading frReport1.ReportForm: access violation 0063C8A5 in module 'MovieCatalog.exe' Read of address 00000030

any ideas ??
everything went fine before today, it happened after installing vista security updates (?)

I guess is must be linked to the printer driver, but I do not have much control on the printing, since I use a component made by someone else.
Do you have several printers? (to try on another one)
Else can you try with a PDF virtual printer?

Yes, i have several printers.
But i get the error message BEFORE i can get any printer selection.

Maybe you can try to change report's default printer by with the Report Designer, hoping that it does not crash when doing that

when i try to launch report designer, nothing happens. Any thoughts ?

And if you try to open "AMCReport.exe" manually?
There must be something that it does not like with your printer...
You can maybe try to set another printer as default one, to check.

It's now working. Though i did nothing except opening the settings panel of my printer.
