Feature Suggestion: Remove names from list not processing...

Hello,

I would like to make a feature suggestion. Recently I renamed a great number of folders and files where some files could contain german umlauts (ä ö ü). I converted them to ae, oe and ue. From about 50,000 files and folders there where approx. 2,000 which contained such characters.

So wouldn't it be nice to have a function which removes names from the processing list because there would be no change to them?

example:
- I'm going to replace ä with ae, ö with oe, ü with ue.
- In the list there are names like daten, bilder, fotos, bücher. therefore only the file "bücher" would be changed (to buecher), the other ones do not need processing because they don't contain any of the searched characters.

It would be very helpful in the preview list. What do you think about it?

I hope I made it understandable because of my "not-so-perfect" english.

Hi,
This is indeed an interesting idea. It would not be very difficult to add: I can use the preview function: if preview of new name = original name, then remove the file.
I cannot promise of when I will add that, but at least I will add it to my to-do list

Hi,

perhaps you should integrate it as some kind of "preview filter" like a checkbox named "show only affected files" or similar.

If someone wants to make several changes to the same set of files, it would be annoying if some of these files get permanently removed from the list.
