Own Numbering System

Hello,

I have trialled a good few of this type of programs and not many can import or create your own reporting design like this one.

I have a question relating to numbering.....

I have an extensive library of movies and tv series already stored in an excel file.

Movies are for example
dvd0001
dvd0002
dvd0003
and so on.....


TV Series are for example
s0001-s0004
s0005
s0007
s0008-s0014
s0015
and so on......


I would like to keep the original library number and be able to sort and print by that numbering system.

You can use the "media label" field which accepts text, but numbers of movies can only be numbers.
Another solution is to make one file for movies and another for series.

Thanks admin... already well on the way and imported in all media... Used your suggested field already to log and keep my own unique library number....

I look forward to your feedback on my other question regarding the printing of groups on category.
