Sugerencias interesantes

.:Fido:.

Suggestions

Ok, i'll try to translate into english then (i've saw posts written in spanish and i though that u could understand it).

- Import from SoraeMovies program (www.soraemovies.com) i think that this will be easy.
- Massive replace (4 example: i want to change all countries in my films EEUU with USA)
- Interface. In the table view, it would be interesting to have a popup window (double clicking the row, or something simmilar...) with basic information about the film and the picture in the same window.
- What do u think about a 'navigation' mode or something similar? This mode would be interesting only to browse films and other query functions. using the keyboard you could go from one film to another having the complete info of the movie in NOT editable mode. This mode could have a search text box also...
- Search/Grouping by actors. I've the actors in the cast of each movie separated by commas, so it would be easy to separate one by one using this criteria (the comma as separator)
- A field to know if the film has been saw.

Greetings from Spain,

- I'll put it on my liste, but there are already lots of programs that I should import from.
- This can be done with scripting. If you do not know how to write scripts, you can use the script "Update all fields"
- It is planned
- Also planned, I'll probably add a HTML-based viewing thing
- Real actors management will probably not be added, but when I'll improve the handling of drop-down lists I may try to do the same for the actors, to allow a better grouping system
- you can use the checkbox in front of the movie name (Tools -> Prefs -> List -> Checkboxes)

Massive replace

Ok, i've tested that script (update fields) but it's in frech (my french is not very good) and i think that because this is a evry important function, it would be better to include it in the core program, using an option in menu 'tools'. :/

I've saw also that i can use the checkboxes to put marks to already seen films, but, hoy can i filter and get a list of my not saw films?

:??: It is both in English and in French (except if it has changed recently, I haven't tested it recently).
In plan to add some shortcuts to special scripts directly in the Tools menu for an easier access, but the current scripting solution already allows to do nearly everything.

You can group movies by "Checked", or do a search on Checked = True or Checked = False and by enabling "Display results" option.
