In my listing I used the 'imdb' number to uniquely identify my movies;
hence it was easier to cross reference with other movielists;
the moviename had too many aliasses and rewrites (eg ', the' in the back or the front )

Is there a possibility to include something like this?
Currently i'm using the 'comments' field for this...

Is there also an easy way on how to do a find/replace?
(perhaps I overlooked it?)
Using 'moviemeter' for dutch movie info; and then using IMDB on the unknown movies; makes my MovieGenre bi-lingual...
also in other fields it would be welcome...

You could simply use the IMDB number as main movie number...

For a search & replace, you can use the script "Update all fields" when opening scripts by Tools -> Scripting, or make that yourself by writting a small script (few lines) if you can do it.

If I use "imdb" as movienumber; I have a problem with :
Movies i have on different carriers eg Divx and Dvd;
or movies I have in different versions (Dutch dubbed, English dubbed)
or ...
I guess I'll be using one of the fields I don't use like "origin" and which doesn't get filled with import-scripts.

thnx for the other suggestion!
