Help getting movie descriptions (Socket Error # 10061)

Post by Tim »

No matter what script I try I get 'Socket Error # 10061 Connection Refused'
I don't know if it matters but I am on a dialup internet connection.
Any ideas on what I can do?

You have to manually connect to internet before using the scripts (e.g. by opening your web browser).
If you use a proxy server, you have to specify it in Tools -> Preferences -> Scripting.

I have the same problem, but I am connected before launching the program, and I don't use a proxy for my connection.
At home, I don't have this problem, but here, I have this error.

at work ? You are sure that there is not proxy ? Sometimes IE can find it automatically, especially if the proxy uses NT authentification (takes login & password from currently logged user)
