Skript Request - steamdb.info

by air2k16
Dear all,
May I ask for a script request of this page:
https://steamdb.info/search/?a=app&q=or ... category=0
From the results page (APPID) it should extract this info for each title:
https://steamdb.info/app/261570/info/
-Name
-Developer
-Publisher
-Release Date
-Wilson Score (Rating)
-Steam Store Link
-Game Logo (optional if Logo doesn't work)
If possible, from Additional Information section:
-Genres
-Logo
-(metacritic_score)
-(metacritic_fullurl)
I know this is gaming related but this program is still a lot more active than Sisimizi Game Catalog, so if someone is willing to create a skript for Ant Movie Catalog, I would appreciate it very much.
Thanks a lot for your time & support!
Kind regards,
Air
Copy Rating value to "My Rating" field

Hi!
Have too many movies in catalog and on many of them i've changed "rating" value (imported from imdb) with my own rating. Since new versions of ant movie catalog have also "my rating" field, i wanna move or copy the value from "Rating Field" into "My Rating field" only on selected movies (so i can group as "my rating" and use script only on the ones with 0 field value). Need help how can do that, coz doing 1k movies manualy will take forever
Thank you!

Hi George, you can use 'Update Fields' script to do this and a lot of other things if you need.
[Step 1] Select movies and select the script 'Update Fields'
1. Select movies where you want to move rating to my rating field
2. Open Scripting... (Shit+F6)
3. Select 'Update Fields' script
4. Check that 'Movies to include' option at right has 'Selected' selected
[Step 2] Run the script and select script option to copy 'Rating' in 'My Rating' field
1. Run the script
2. Select 'Copy field 1 in field 2' script option
3. Select 'Rating' field
4. Select 'My Rating' field
5. Click yes
6. Click yes if you want to check modified movies, no otherwise
7. Done
[Step 3] Run the script and select script option to delete value in 'Rating' field (optional)
1. Run the script agin
2. Select 'Delete a field' script option
3. Select 'Rating' field
4. Click yes
6. Done

I know nothing about creating scripts.
I would like a script to pull the entire cast of a movie from IMDB.
I have a workaround right now, but it would be much easier with a script.
Thanks...

Doesn't the current IMDb script already have an option to get all actors?

The IMDB script that I use (IMDB.ifs) pulls in the following names for the movie DREAM HORSE:
Toni Collette, Owen Teale, Alan David, Lynda Baron, Damian Lewis, Karl Johnson, Steffan Rhodri, Rhys ap William, Carwyn Glyn, Siân Phillips
The entire cast appears on this page:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9883996/fu ... _=tt_ql_cl
I would like their names AND the part they played in the movie for every cast member, if possible.

@AllanH
Often forgotten, just check the script options.
Setting(doubleclick) ActorsLayout = 2 and AllActors = 1 should do the trick. As result, you get all actors with their role in parenthesis.

Thanks!
I need to learn more about all the settings before posting.

Hello everyone,
I would like to know if it is possible when I enter a data in a field that other fields are filled automatically.
For example, if I fill in "Type of support" that "Origin" and "Borrowed by" are also filled in by a data of my choice.
Thank you in advance for your insight and expertise.

It is not really possible to automate that.
You can define default values for each field (that is in Preferences -> Movie info) but they will be the same for each new field, not conditioned to the fact that "Type of support" is filled or not.
Via script it could be done, but then you'd still have to manually run the script, so I'm not sure it has much interest. Or you could include that in the script that you use for importing all other info.

Thank you antp for taking the time to answer me...
Indeed, I see the difficulty...
I opt for a script...can you tell me how to write it ? Here are 2 examples to put in the same script:
- If "media type" = "Kirk Douglas" then "Origin" = "Film2" and "Borrowed by" = "False".
- If "media type" = "Collection" then "Origin" = "Film1" and "Borrowed by" = "True"
Thanks in advance for your help...

Bonjour,
j'ai essayé de faire le script et voici le résultat
if GetField(fieldMediaType) = 'Depardieu' then
begin
SetField(fieldSource, 'Films1');
SetField(fieldBorrower, 'False');
Si je veux rajouter par exemple 'James Stewart' à la suite de 'Depardieu' pour obtenir le même résultat...comment dois-je l'écrire ?
J'ai essayé ceci mais ça ne marche pas
if GetField(fieldMediaType) = 'Depardieu' 'James Stewart' then
begin
SetField(fieldSource, 'Films1');
SetField(fieldBorrower, 'False');
Merci par avance de votre aide
Hello,
I tried to do the script and here is the result
if GetField(fieldMediaType) = 'Depardieu' then
begin
SetField(fieldSource, 'Films1');
SetField(fieldBorrower, 'False');
If I want to add for example 'James Stewart' after 'Depardieu' to get the same result...how should I write it?
I tried this but it doesn't work
if GetField(fieldMediaType) = 'Depardieu' 'James Stewart' then
begin
SetField(fieldSource, 'Films1');
SetField(fieldBorrower, 'False');
Thanks in advance for your help

Hi,
Sorry for the delay.
You can either do this:
Code: Select all
if (GetField(fieldMediaType) = 'Depardieu') or (GetField(fieldMediaType) = 'James Stewart') then
or if you want to avoid having each time the "GetField" repeated, store the value in a variable:
Code: Select all
program newscript;
var
s: string;
begin
s := GetField(fieldMediaType);
if (s = 'Depardieu') or (s = 'James Stewart') then
begin
SetField(.....);
SetField(.....);
end;
end.

I have a large collection of audio books & use AMC to catalogue them. See MODS forum for details
I have a request for the scripting geniuses out there.
Given the following information:
Author
Title
Series
Series index
Grab a description & URL from
https://www.fantasticfiction.com/
Thus:
Faith Martin
Murder on the Oxford Canal
Hillary Greene
1
returns
https://www.fantasticfiction.com/m/fait ... -canal.htm
and the preview
I would like it to work in the same manner as the IMDB script.
- RIGHT! I'm off to have a go, but I'm not any sort of coder and this looks complicated!
Thanks for reading!
