Search On Internet function and poster importing...

Post by ABNormal »

1) maybe i'm wrong but this function search on internet through the OriginalTitle.
is it possible to create a... %t (instead of %s=original title)variable for searches with Translated Titles?

2) I'ld like to have a search-on-internet like this one:
http://www.filmup.com/cgi-bin/search.cg ... &o=1&ps=20
but this function has errors with %25%2 inside url.
is it possible to correct it?

3) Is it possible to add a poster import with a Paste-From-Memory (like a CTRL-V)? sometimes poster is reached not through this prog but with a Google Images Search. Actually i save the pic in a folder, then i import this picture as poster with 'Select a Picture' then i delete the saved picture. I'ld like to copy image from browser and move it directly from memory to poster. (i hope you've understood).
Is it possible this?

thx

1. I'll improve that in a near future to support all fields (could be used in different places of the program, like for the formatted title)

2. "%25%2F" is actually the encoded form of "%/" (strange...)
Try to either put "%/", "%%/", or "%%25%%2F"

3. You can drag & drop the picture from the browser to AMC window, it should work (well, it may depend of the browser that you use). In the future I'll add a paste thing.

2) i added 2nd % and perfectly works now. thx.

3) i've seen.
drag&drop works with explorer.
i'm using mozilla firefox and, i dont know why, it doesnt work (your prog says that doesnt recognize image).
drag'n'drop is really useful btw and fast!
well, in the meanwhile you enlarge compatibility with my browser, i'll alternate it with micro$oft one.

thx

I use the same browser, and sometimes it works sometimes not.
I am not sure at 100% but it seems that if you wait 1-2 seconds over the AMC window before releasing the button it works. I guess it is the time that it needs for saving the picture to the temp folder of Windows.
