Hi
I have upgraded to a 27 inch monitor and the AMC interface is small. Can you tell me what commands can be used to enlarge everything? From icons to fonts. I saw that by editing the translation file I can change some fonts but I don't know what commands should be used to change all the fonts.
Thanks
I found a post that explains how to hide certain entries and this would allow me to enlarge the fonts. The problem is that the spaces are not redistributed after I hide a field
These old applications do not support very well scaling, that's from an older era (made with tools from 25 years ago...)
Microsoft seems to have changed the way it works too, and do not provide option to use the old scaling system. So even if it somewhat works in older versions of Windows, with the recent ones it does not seem to be the case unfortunately.
In the properties of the shortcut used to run the program, in the "Compatibility" tab, there is a button to change High DPI settings. You may try to see if changing these options give a different result.
Thank you, you are very kind to keep alive and follow this wonderful program. Unfortunately, even with DPI enabled in the properties, there are no big improvements
Are there any valid programs that can replace AMC today? Or are you working on a new version (which would be great!)

Sorry, no, due to lack of time I won't work on a replacement project.
I don't know in the very long term if I'll be able to keep AMC running forever, but in worse case some day I could make additional conversion tools if needed to migrate to other solutions.
Moreover, I do not need any more to catalog movies, since I mostly watch series via streaming (which I manage via the Betaseries website, to know what I watched and what is left to watch).
Thanks, yes it is nice to have been able to make something useful to so many people
Thanks to Microsoft and its good compatibility, 25 years later it still works without big issue.
I'm back to tell you that I tried other software and.... I went back to AMC
At this point, any advice to make the fonts less ugly is appreciated. By the way, it seems that it's a problem that only I have, I can't find any threads that talk about it... thanks
Think sideways folks! When you select a movie, and hit F12, the pane on the right changes from plain text (that none of us can read!) to HTML
The default template is:-
C:\ProgramData\Ant Movie Catalog\Templates\HTMLDefaultTemplate.html
Make a backup copy and EDIT THIS! you can easily increase the font size. With a tiny bit of work you can even include custom fields you may have made.
Custom fields:
$$ITEM_CF_ + custom field TAG in upper case = Custom field value
