error while trying to get infos from site "cannot...soc

I installed ANT on an old pc with win95.
It seems ok, but when i add a new movie and try to get infos from the script... appears an error "CANNOT ALLOCATE SOCKET"

i must click three o four times on OK to comeback to ANT and try to add another movie... of course it can't retrieve info from site...

some ideas?

Did you install Winsock 2 ?
As said on http://antp.be/software/moviecatalog/download at the end of the page, it is required under Win95

Well, I'm having the same issue since i've updated everything manually from 3.5.0.2 to 3.5.1 ... With Windows Vista :-(

I receive the message "Cannot allocate socket" every time I use a script, when i launch the request.

Any idea of what happens ? I'm sure I've replaced every file with provided ones in the new archive ...

That's quite strange, as only Windows 95 is supposed to be concerned by that problem...

Do you have some special system for your internet connection?

Hi Antoine !

Nope, I'm using a regular ethernet connection ... However, i decided to take it back to the begining (by this i mean: delete absolutly all files that were already present before the migration, and past only new ones into my ant movie folder), and it worked again !

So, either it was my computer which needed a reboot or a file/setting which cause this problem.

Hope it can help someone one day !
