I suppose the left one is more intuitive as human understanding for larger and smaller numbers.
Sort by name put "1" then "10", instead "2"

Indeed, a few years ago Microsoft and other software started to use what is called '"natural sort", where numbers are detected, instead of computer sorting where the comparison is done character by character.
Ant Renamer is much older than that
Improving that is on my to-do list since long time, so maybe one day it will be added as option.
As my file manager also use this old-fashion sorting I tend to use padding zeroes (01 instead of just 1) when numbering files
