GET INFORMATION

Post by Purcy63 »

Hi all. I am currently experiencing a problem that I hope you can help me out with. I am trying to "Get Information" using the IMDB script for multiple movies. When I run the script, some of the movies download the required information, while others, only very little information is downloaded. The movies where the information is downloaded, the check-boxes are checked as required, but the check-boxes for the the movies that only minimal information is downloaded, have no check-boxes checked. Any ideas?

Hi, do you have the latest version of the script? (5.5.08)
If yes, do you have an example of a movie with this issue?

Yes, the script is up to date.

Image 1 - Pop window showing no check boxes checked
Image 2 - Pop window that used to show, including checked boxes
Image 3 - Movie fields screen that shows that only a few fields are now being extracted.

As you can see, Caught Stealing did work yesterday (one of only not many that did), but when run again to day, I have the same issue with all now.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

That's strange.
For me these title work.
Maybe IMDb is doing changes again, but deploy them gradually and not for every visitor. Maybe it will work again in the next days? Or will break everywhere and then I'll be able to fix it if I have the issue too.
In the meantime you can try with the other script, "IMDb via API".

Hi, do you have the latest version of the script (5.5.08) installed?
If so, could you provide an example of a movie that’s showing this issue? That would help narrow down whether it’s a matching problem or something else in the metadata lookup.

With all movies? Or just with some?
