Export to html question

Post by El Frigo »

1. Only export selected movies seems to be disabled. Whatever I do I cannot select it. (version 3.4.3)
2. I changed to version 3.4.3. The problem is when I export my movie list to html (full) using the default "template2 full.html" I used to get filenames as how the movie is called and NOT the number it has in the database.
How can i export the movies and get the movie name as the filename in stead of the movie database number?

1. It is not "selected" movies, it is "checked" movies (Tools -> Preferences -> Movie list -> checkboxes option to enable these checkboxes in the list). You'll have to wait for version 3.5 for being able to export only selected movies. I wonder why I did not add that sooner.

2. I am not sure that I understood your question well, but there is an option for that in Tools -> Preferences -> Export. If the option is correctly set, then maybe it is a bug that I'll have to find...

1. Thats clear now (i got the wrong impression because the text is called "Only export selected (checked) movies". I thought selected would work too. I will wait for that in version 3.5

2. When you use "template2 full.htm" to export your movie list you can only select the name of "mainfilename" to save it to. Alle the movie files then get the name "mainfilename_#numbermovie.htm". I previous exports the name was "name_of_the_move.htm". How can I change the script to save it correct?

As I said, this can be changed in Tools -> Preferences -> Export. There is an option "Individual pages and pictures filename style"
