multiple filters and sorting methods ?

Hi there :-)

First of all … thanks much … !!! :-))) ; on AMC you did a reeeaaal great job !
I was getting along with a self made excel-spreadsheet “quite well” … web links needed to be added manually; features like automatically grapping of web content or a picture download was out of reach; That stuff is far too much trouble (for me).
That’s certainly because I don’t have a clue of programming or scripting … its simply not my job. … I’m drifting away ... sorry ;-) …To illustrate my problem let me tell a little anecdote:
Once upon a time there was that guy … that found a reeeaaal great and comfortable movie-management software. It took him a few hours to proper export and import all his data from his self-made excel-spreadsheet. When all the work was done and even the whole database was valued with cover pictures he was calling for his wife … he honey … let me show you my new <withaprodandshinysmileonhisface> Movie Catalog … that’s Ant Movie Catalog!
WIFE: All right … what’s on tonight … show me how to use it! Ok … lets have a look at the new stuff … a comedy would be fine … and how can I filter out the ones we’ve already watched? GUY:<withanotsoshinysmileanymore>: well don’t worry there will be a way to do so … after about 30 minutes the fellow was on the keyboard rushing though newsgroups and several French scripts … he couldn’t find any German help… (his French is horrible) … and actually he doesn’t know much about scripting :-( … and almost forgot to mention … his wife was asking for the old spreadsheet. <aaarrrrrrrrrrrrggggg>
Is there anyone who can tell me (if its possible anyhow) how to realise multiple filters and sorting methods ? For example I want to … a) see the latest incomes … b) I’ve not watched so far (I use a note in the field “Auflösung / resolution” to mark the “not watched so far” ones) … and for third filter … take any … for example a above five rated movie ???
Is there any hope ? … or do I need a go an torture my wife … |-> for shooting me down tonight ;-)
