One more question I forgot to ask in my previous post:

The option for exporting only the selected items is NOT enabled... is this a way to enable that??

Actually this option is to export checked movies.
So you have to use this feature
it can be enabled in Tools -> Preferences -> Movie information -> Checkboxes
I really should add something to export selected movie like I did for printing
