Problems with getting video file information

Post by Xyzzy »

Hello,

I have added some movies to AMC 4.2.2 (just dragged them onto movies list) and noticed that:

- Video Format sometimes contains codec name (like AVC), but sometimes it's picture ratio (like 2.35:1) - should be always codec I guess?
- Audio format is sometimes completely wrong (fe. Mono instead of AC3 5.1 - confirmed with MediaInfo)
- Subtitle files are completely ignored when populating Subtitle fields (they have names like <movie file name>.<language>.<extension - fe. txt or sub>
- Movies with unicode names are added as empty entries - File Path field is empty (fe. Солярис (1972)\Солярис (1972).avi)

Can I somehow rectify these issues?

Hi,
Unicode is not supported at all, so for files with such names it is normal that you encounter problems.
For the other ones, it is weird. I don't really have an idea, as for the few I used it, it seemed to work fine.
