Hello all,
Thank you for AMC, it is wonderful.
I hope to get help with the image quality of my movie poster that is imported from IMDB. The end product I receive after importation is a small thumbnail. I have already selected the option under imagekind to import the bigger movie poster, but I still end up with the small thumbnail.
IF i visit the IMDB site and click on the move thumbnail image, it links me to a large good quality picture. Is there anyway to import that picture automatically??
Or am I going about this wrong? My goal is to have a good quality movie poster image and not the low quality thumbnails to view in my catalogue.
Thank you for any advice.
The test movie I am using for IMDB is American Pie.

Movie poster quality is poor.
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I am glad to hear it is working properly. Maybe I have something checked/unchecked somewhere that is limiting me to the thumbnail only.
I am using IMDB 3.83. I ran the "update scripts" script, and it is still 3.83. Is the 3.89 a typo? Or do I need to investigate how to update to that version?
My imagekind is set to "3", whatever that is worth.

I confirm the 3.89, and we fixed image problems previously, so it must be it: when you run "update scripts", after a few seconds it will display a list of new scripts available, pick "imdb" and click ok; once done, close that, reopen the script window, and it should be good.
If not there is still a possibility to do that update manually, but I don't see why the automatic one wouldn't work.
You can find the scripts for download there: http://update.antp.be/amc/scripts/
(In case you need additional directions for manual update, which version of Windows are you using?)

Updating to 3.89 solved the problem.
Oddly, it took numerous tries to get it to update. I would run the automatic script, chose imdb, then I would close the window (and sometimes the whole AMC program). After about 5-6 attempts, it finally updated to 3.89.
Thank you very much for your help :-)
