[REQ] sort and renumber script

Post by MDFanatik »

I like the advanced sort and renumber function in the program. However I would like to use it for just a selection of movies. I know it is possibale with a script to renumber, but there is no option to sort before. Sorting in the main window doesn't seem to get used by the script. (tried that) Could someone help me? Is there a "sort" function in the scripteditor?

That's too bad. I'll stick with manually sorting and renumbering than! Thanks for the reply!

On second though, one way to achieve that could be exporting a part of the catalog, delete that part from the original one, renumbering that second partial catalog, reimport it in the original one.
With backups of the whole thing before :D

That should work, but would probably even be more work ;-)
