Would it be possible to add "export to xml ver 4.1" from ver 4.2 and next?
I use My Films (by Guzzi) in Mediaportal and the last upgrade is already more than one year old.
I guess that when My Films will be compatible with AMC 4.2 you will be at 5.0!
The only way I found was to export to csv and to reimport into 4.1 and then to re-export to XML!
If no way, I'd better stay with 4.1 till Guzzi wakes up.
Any clue for an easier/other way?

In File -> Save As you can save to a .amc file of version 4.1
The XML of 4.2 should be still readable by older versions, I'd expect that they simply skip unknown tags.
What happens with the newer file?
If it says it is the wrong version you can maybe try to edit the XML file directly and change the version in the header, see if that is enough to fool the test

Error in My Films: XML invalid format (4.2). Modifying the XML header is successful. (Advice: use notepad++ better than Windows')
The computer used to display the db is not the same as the one used to feed the list. So I'm going to use "save as amc 4.1" and generate the XML catalog on the media computer using AMC 4.1.
