Missing thumbnails

I haven't used the program for a few months but when I try to open the catalog I can see my catalog data but not the thumbnails. I no longer appear to have any .amc file but I do have the XML file which if I click on it I can see my thumbnails. This appears to be some sort of linking problem.

How do I fix this?

You could use the XML file if the contents (movie info) is the same as the AMC file ?
