finding backup copy

Post by deemgreg »

Is the .bak file where all my movies are stored? I recently switched the location of my .bak file, and when I went into preferences to change the information it doesn't recognize the .bak extension.

Hi,

I don't understand what you want to change in peferences but if you want to open a catalog with ".bak" extension in AMC, you have to rename it with ".amc" extension before.

And .bak is the copy of your catalog before the last save. The movies are stored in the .amc (or .xml if you selected that format).
