[SOLVED]imdb script question

Post by the_observer »

Hi all ,

i use ant movie catalog for many years now and i am quite happy but i have a question i am pretty sure i used to know how to do it in the past but now..you know, i am getting old and Alzheimer is thriving :)

Short description:
Using imdb script i select translated title to be downloaded and other fields e.g. video format from the modifiable fields of scripting window, but they are remain greyed out and so come empty.
What have i broke as the years passed by which now i dont remember?
Any ideas?

Long description:
Lately i decided to re-import some already imported movies of my database using imdb script .
Mainly to see if it would correct the translated titles which i had problems in the past when imdb site was -for a period constantly- changing her page and the imdb script was changing accordingly to catch up with those changes.
So ,after the download from imdb is finished i am presented with the various fields which i can tick to import to the database replacing the old ones.
Unfortunately there are no new values because they remain unpicked even though i enable them to be downloaded from the scripting window e.g. video format and translated title.
Have i disabled them from somewhere?

I checked the AMC options but i don't see something relevant.
Have i modify some AMC files which i don't remember now i have?
So how can re enable the greyed out values?
Any ideas?

I use latest AMC version and latest imdb script.
Thank you for your time reading this.

Regards,

There was a problem with the IMDb script, it was not retrieving the translated titles any more.
I am not sure if this has been fixed, but I see that you have an old version of the script, so you should at least update it (current version is 3.82).

Thanks antp.

That was the problem.
I though i had the latest version but it was not.
By downloading it the translated title is working again.

Just let me mention that other fields (e.g. video bit rate, video format are not working ,they still stay greyed out but maybe they are meant to be so.Anyway they are not needed i guess).

These other fields are rather imported from video files than from sites like IMDB.
