Imported image only 5KB?

Post by evic »

Without changing anything in Preferences, the pictures I used to import with the other information mainly from IMDB are no longer saved by Ant Movie Catalog in their original size but in a forced 5KB version.

Further details:
- Movie information - Picture Importation >> Store picture into Catalog for both Drag&Drop and Internet Scripting. (unchanged)
- Script Options - ImageKind >> 3 -> IMDB large image, from link on main movie page.. (unchanged)

Please advise how to restore this function of the program so that I can have better quality pictures (posters) stored.
Thanks.

It is most likely due to a change on IMDB-side then...

Well.. I hear what you are saying. But..

if you go e.g. to this link http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1539347712/tt0285331

- it gives you in the top left corner the small image (what we are saying is getting imported to AMC now), and the big (original size) one as well in the middle.

Do you think it is possible for you to adjust our AMC script for IMDB so that it obtains the full picture instead of the small one?

I'm not saying that it is not possible to get the large one, I am just saying that IMDB probably made a change and that the script would have to be updated to reflect that change ;)
I do not have time now to check that, maybe someone else will...

OK, so we are talking about the same thing.
COOL.
Thanks for the confirmation.

I guess.. then.. I look forward to seeing the change implemented in one of the future AMC Scripts for IMDB.

Thank you, Antp
