Display HTML Template and javascript

I'm trying to customize Display HTML page (default page is HTMLDefaultTemplate.html). I found that javascript doesn't work. When I test my template with HTML exporting feature then generated page is ok (javascript works). Should generation process for HTML export and for HTML Display be the same or I'm missing something?
I created boolean custom field 'IsTVSeries' and wish to generate different look dependting on the value of that field. With using javascript that would be possible.

I'm just started using this great app so sorry in advance if this information is already explained somewhere.

Hi,

Unfortunately, only HTML and CSS are interpreted in HTML Viewer.
That why Javascript doesn't work.

Thank you for fast reply.
I'm sorry to hear that. It would greatly expand application capabilities. Is there another way of doing conditional formatting for HTML Viewer depending on movie fields? Is Javascript on the roadmap for application?
With current application capabilities I have easily added feature for playing local backup movie file through HTML Viewer and with javascript I was hoping to add option to play different series from TV series (one movie entry per TV season).

Ok,

I will see what I can do for a future version.
Maybe I will add an option to use internal interpreter or IE interpreter to use javascript and plugins like flash, ...
