Script to change category,PLEASE

I'm not familiar with programming language though I have experimented with a few of my own scripts.......to no avail.

I have >1000 movies catalogued so would really appreciated a script to change the category I have already given them to a different category.
Please, clever people, help me out!

Why don't you use script "Update Fields" ? (From "Tools" + "Scripting" in Main Menu)
Isn't it sufficient?

Don't seem to have that in AMC 3.51............where would I find a script called "update Fields" so I can give it a go

Update Fields Script is part of the 3.5.1. AMC!
Take a look to "Language Filter" in the script Page as "Update Fields" is EN,FR (so may be you could find some others Useful scripts!)

You have to call it from Tools -> Scripting, not from the "Get info from script" menu, since it is not a script which returns movie info from a site.
