you must update OFDb - IMDb (DE)

otherwise you can't get the length, country, director(s) and actors.

The new version of the script adds several minor improvements.

2 new Options "AllFromOFDB" and "CommentContent" are available: Now you can force the script to get all values from ofdb and you can import either the Plot Summary or the first User Review from imdb.com to Commentfield.

I'm searching a movie with the name "codename:" (original name).
The first response was ok. Now I can choose "Codename: Emerald".

But the following results are faulty:
- the picture request ends with HTTP-404 error
- after some other requests the script hangs
.

I must cancel the scipt without any result :-((.

Are you sure that you are using OFDB - IMDb (DE).ifs in the current version 1.8.0?
I've tried everything as input (as the original title and as a translated title):

Codename:
Code Name: Emerald
Codename: Emerald

and always get perfect results (see the attached pictures; a german description is not available on imdb.de and comments are disabled).

My used script version is also 1.8.0.

The reason for the not working script is my network connection.
It's 3G-UMTS-Vodafon (1und1) with a default compression.

The HTML page includes only a few CR-LF charcters!

The Line variable (as result from FindLine) contains up to 1000 characters.

The most script parts can't parse this correct.

If I administrate the MWconn connection configuration to
"Graphics compression off, if possible" the script works fine.

But this tools isn't the default 3G-UMTS connection program for the most people and this MWconn configuration works not for all provider.

The script "CineFactsDE" works better (it's robust); but the informations are often incomplete.

Therefore I like "OFDb - IMDb - mod".

I'm afraid I can not solve the problem (except write a completely new script).

It is true that the lines at imdb.com are extremely long, with the function FindLine read and then parsed.

The line length is determined by imdb.com.

You assume, that the original-Lines from imdb.com are changed by the UMTS-Compression, so that you get something else as the content of the line-variable as a user with a 'normal' Internet-Connection.

If so, the script does not work: Even the change of a single character confuses everything.

To adapt the script to the UMTS-compression, I would have to know how the compression works and what exactly will be changed.

I don't have this informations.
