AVC+DTS-HD mkv files lack of bitrate info when imported

Post by jfromeo »

Hello fellows.

I am currently importing my 1080p mkv movies remuxed from Full Bluray dumps into a catalog, and I have found that both video and audio bitrates from some of the mkv are missing while adding it to the catalog.

All the mkv files consist in an unique video track (MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1), an unique audio track (DTS-HD, DTS, TrueHD, AC3) and an unique subtitle track (SRT).

I have found that all the AVC+DTS-HD combos (and only those combos) lack of the bitrate info when imported (adding or drag&dropping it), as shown on the pic:

Is that normal? Can't the MediaInfo plugin read it correctly for any reason? Is that fixable?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

you can try with the last version of MediaInfo.dll (0.7.35), with some old versions the bitrate info are not always imported with some videos (with last codecs).

To do this, replace the MediaInfo.dll in the AMC folder with the last one.
